The Body Bow does provide some resistance.However, the rigid red plastic tubes are not adjustable so the item is the wrong size for anyone except for the very few people of "normal height."The resistance is also unalterable.It doesn't fold, so one has to store a 24" item instead of a bag of resistance tubing.I found the whole thing to be rather clumsy.One can do more exercises at a more tailored level of resistance with simple resistance tubing.
