Cathe Friedrich's Ab Hits DVDDespite the blurb, there's very little variety here. "Ab Hits" contains twelve 6-11 minute workouts, repackaged from Cathe's earlier DVDs. But each workout is basically the same - just crunches, crunches and more crunches. About five of the workouts also have planks and one throws in some supermans. There are far less boring, more creative - and more fun - ways to work your core.

For 10-minute core workouts which won't bore you senseless I would recommend Keli Roberts: Asap and Quick Fix - Pilates Abs Workout, both with Keli Roberts, Denise Austin's Hit the Spot - Pilates or Star Trainers: Abs which offers plenty of variety. For 20-minute ab workouts, try Cathe Friedrich's Hardcore Series: CORE MAX, Kari Anderson's Curl, or Adam Ford's Swiss Ball Abs and Core. Or if you're feeling tough, try Mindy Mylrea: All About Abs which includes three challenging - and very innovative - workouts about 15 minutes long.
